Alas, I'd really love to come to this, but I'll be flying back from Denmark the day before, and then travelling up to Birmingham for Candybox in the evening. I'll also have had more work on my new tattoo (on my arm), so won't be flexible enough to do many fan moves. x

I am so sad about this as I am in London performing the night before but I have my tickets for candy Box why oh why did you have to do it on the 31st. I have been wanting a master class in fans for years, I have been practicing loads for the last two weeks for my new act and have learnt loads but this would have been perfect sigh mutter mutter.

I'd love to go but worried it might be too advanced as I'm still a beginner...

Hi folks, the class is suitable for everyone with a keen attitude to learn.

Newbies will learn from scratch and experienced performers will take this time to absolutely perfect the basic moves and turns (it involves a lot of blending between posture, showgirl moves, 'object manipulation' and the like) before everyone goes on to learn the tricks, shapes and those difficult fancies - that look so easy.

It's a great opportunity to experiment with your own shapes and ideas too as the teachers will be on hand to help you use your reflection and 'body feeling' in order to understand the beauty-science of posing and moving with the fans.

Oh I am so tempted as its exactly what I need for my new act but I am just worried if I have performed two nights in a row, driven all the way form Liverpool and then need to go to Birmingham that night that I might be pushing it.
Need to do a bit more weighing up in my head.

I'm sorry Ms Sprinkle but the position for class holder upper has already been filled by me. I have many excellent years of causing delays, misunderstanding simple directions and an ability to block out the most important of instructions, no matter how many times they are repeated.

Plus I'm a beginner too! Never played with feathers before and have images of being tarred and feathered.....

Well, if you already hold the position -what have I got to loose?!?
