Jessica - If you can't afford a video camera and filming on your mobile isn't possible (though even some digital cameras have a video function) then even practising with a large mirror can do the trick. Only poopy thing is you can't see yourself when you turn to face the back. BUT it's better than nothing!
Oh! and if you move to Brighton, if you like you could let me know as I've been talking to a few girls about sharing the cost of renting a practise hall every now and then. Just PM me if you'd be interested in joining in. I'm searching for a place with enough space, decent mirrors and not too expensive p/hr as we're all low on cash!
