Hello Lads and Ladies.

I'm new to this forum, not so much to the burlesque scene but I'd love to start performing sometime. I'd really like someone to help me with the basics. I've got the MoB DVD coming my way shortly (I hope), and I've already got a bit of knowledge. I guess I just need some confidence, and someone to practice with.

I was hoping that someone may be able to point me in a direction where I can learn, or meet up with people who could help me. I can't really get to london for lessons, and there doesn't seem to be anywhere around that could help me, or anywhere affordable for that matter.

Any ideas.

Also, on my searches for fans, I came across those who can make a pair for me on here, I shall be enquiring sometime later about that, as I'd love a hand made pair by someone who knows how!

Where in Hants are you? There is a teacher is Southampton who's starting a beginners cycle before an intermediate course. Not brilliant but cheap and cheerful and great for confidence.
