There's the odd workshop in Birmingham

Shropshire doesn't have any classes yet (well none that I've noticed) but we do have the Kitty Kat Club: MySpace.com - Kitty Kat Club UK - 19 - Female - Shrewsbury, UK - www.myspace.com/kittykatcapers who put on shows every few months.

I've got it in my head that I saw something about a class in Stoke - but I might have dreamt it. If I can find anything I'll let you know.

Otherwise, as Violet says - we are lucky enough to have lots of things happening in Birmingham, which I know is a bit of a trek, but a few years ago, you'd have had to go to Manchester or beyond.

Although you're too late to book up for these - there's a class today or tomorrow I think through the Candy Box in Birmingham, Scarlet Fever is doing a class in a few weeks and soon the World Famous BOB is doing a class too - so just keep your eyes on the forums here and you'll spot something. In the meantime there's the Ministry of Burlesque dvd for beginners - for lots of fun in the privacy of your own home.

And Kitty Kat classes are a possibility! We're thinking of running a workshop soon, just trying to find a venue and making sure there is enough interest. Add us (or me or Eva) on myspace and more details should be coming soon!

Kitty Kat classes will be happening! This summer to be precise. We have a venue in Shrewsbury lined up and plan to run an all day workshop. We'll be deciding on a date soon, but all we need to know from you lovely ladies of the midlands is if you would rather have workshops on a saturday or sunday. Obviously we realise that people have work and other commitments, so let us know and we'll try to find a date that suits enough of you. The day is probably going to be a 10 til 6 affair, with an hour off for lunch and a pastie making session!
