Leicester Burlesque
I'm looking to start burlesque in the Leicester area for shows and performances.
I've had three years dance experience (not burlesque), I'm burlesque modelling and making my own burlesque and pin-up clothes, so confidence/performance isn't the issue, someone to do it is however... well thats another story!!
Does anyone know of any burlesque troups in Leicester or somewhere nearby? like Coalville or Ashby?
Or is anyone in Leicester with experience interested in peforming together? x

I know of burlesque in the surrounding area:
Northampton
Rugby
Birmingham
Burton-Upon-Trent
Derby
Nottingham
...nothing in Leicester yet, to my knowledge.

There is meant to be a charity night happening there soon there was a post about it this week. Also i know a girl at the university who was starting a burlesque review I know Scarlet went down and performed for her not sure if they are still doing stuff.

Its on Sat 26th April at Quebec in Leicester the event is to raise awareness of prostate cancer. that might have been Norwich Achtung that on the 5th of April I am performing there with Warren Speed and Dixie Licious.

That charity show sounds awesome, i wouldn't want to go it alone though! but i might come along just to see if i could meet some other burlesque performers who would be interested in working with me!

Oooooooohhhh!! I'm real excited now - I live in Rugby, so not that far from Leicester (besides which I'm there every other week anyway as I'm a Tigers fan!).
