I am running some workshops in Nottingham around my event Shangri-la Lounge.
They are more belly dance than burlesque
but Ki from Neo-Hips does a theatrical style bellydance one
which incorporates burlesque/cabaret style.
and I definitely recommend Neo-Hips workshops!
Ki is such a fab girl and their workshops are so much fun!
She is actually going back to America in the new year so this will be the last chance befor she goes. There are still some spaces left on that course if you are interested
and I may also be running some burlesque workshops in future with some popular
burlesque performers.
The show after the workshops will have both bellydancers and burlesque performers
which is also a great way to meet other people who are into the scene.

count me in.......I'd be interested in burlesque classes in Nottingham / Derby too, I have dance training and performed on stage but not burlesque, would LOVE to learn. Also anyone locally who needs a burlesque 'buddy' for fun nights out - see my post in burlesque chat.
