your sure to learn stage presance and character.

Everybody learns differenly , Im much happier with one to one tuition but i've done weekly work shops but keep an eye out for when new work shops in me area. Every tutor has a different style.

I had the pleasure to meet both Ruby and Venuss on the same night and they are both amazing ladies. Venuss is one heck of a dancer, and during the night gave a brief demo of how to shimmy and seemed to get the audience doing it pretty well, so I imagine she could do a lot in a weekend.

As for Ruby's hair and make-up tips she has had some wonderful results that I have seen and her advice on the BWI forum is spectacular.

If you go onto the website and email Ruby then she will be able to tell you what the course involves and can answer your questions. She might even be able to put you in touch with someone who has been on the course and can tell you what it is like.

Well done James - you've just opened up the MoB Academy to anyone. If 10 Birmingham based ladies clubbed together they could get a MoB Wortkshop for possibly as little as £54.50 each (based on enquiries Angel made a few months back) with the venue being a massive professional dance studio in Birmingham City Center (the Dance Exchange for those who may be asking).

The sky really is the limit now for learning the art of Burlesque.

Sorry, didn't see the part about Dance Exchange. I was working on the prices if someone held a course on their own home, student hall, office etc... ie somewhere with no additional fee.

No problem James - I'm just as capable of missing stuff in posts aswell.

I guess part of my reason for suggesting a venue and the cost is that I see it as quite difficult to fit 10 people into your average home. Angel and I have a 16 foot long lounge, but we'd have to clear out a lot of furniture if we wanted to facilitate more than one of two people getting private tuition - and even then I think it would be a very cramped if not impossible if we had 10 students and a teacher. Of course I'm not suggesting that people have to rent out a dance studio either - just make sure they have a big enough area so that everyone can see the teacher easily and move/dance/strip/whatever without crashing into each other.

I suppose technically - no. It's a personalized profile on someone else's website (i.e Mr. Myspace or whoever.) I'm no expert, but I'm sure James will know.

I think that most would agree that a website at a domain name actually purchased and owned by a person/company (rather than on a free acount somewhere) speaks volumes about their dedication to, and experience of, their own or intended client base. It certainly seems to be a modern necessity for any business to be taken seriously or to at least 'be counted' among cohorts.

I don't know if you were asking about sites in general or sites specific to performers but, are you thinking of setting up a site Ms Lavey?

Yes actually I am. I figured it's about time but it is a bit hard to find the best deal. I want all versions of the website i.e. .com, .co.uk, .net.

Also I'm very fussy so want to be certain that I get the site I want. Not the site that the desinger decided I was going to have :-)
