I have looked in the events listings but there was nothing for October so I thought I would ask here. I am up doing some consultancy in Glagow around the 15 - 18th October. Is there anything twirly/tassly happening that i could take in whilst I was there rather than sitting in a sad hotel bar?

What a shame you're not coming up a month earlier!

That said it's always tassely and twirly around certain Scottish burlesquers and we're a friendly mob. I know Edinburgh better than Glasgow really, as that's my home.

Don't know of any burlesque nights as such on in Glasgow then, but you could always see if you could join in the burlesque dance class held by the dancehouse on wednesday nights. It's a great laugh and you can get your fix of burly. beginners 6 to 7 and 7 to 8 and advanced 8-9, held at the scottish youth theatre.
The person to speak to is the inimitable Gypsy Charms - you can just pm her through this site.

And if you wish to be rescued from your hotel bar at any point, then get in touch and I promise to come and whisk you away to... another bar!
