Should i just "jump in"?
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, so sorry if it isn't.
I was thinking of booking a place in the workshop but i have absolutely no experience what-so-ever. Would it be best to do some other performance classes first or can i just start the workshop as i am?

What have you got to lose?
I've heard nothing but gushing praise for the workshops.

If you havent already you really should just go, jump straight in!
I went and it was great fun and the class is all differend levels of people. The group of people I was with consisted of a teacher, a business woman, a hairdresser, a pole dancing teacher and a ...me hehe.
One thing I was happy I didnt do was take any1 I know purly due to the fact that it made it easyer for me to throw myself into it without thinking 'If I mess up they will tell everyone' hehe.

The great thing about classes, is that you mix wit some people you wouldnt usually mix with. i think that it builds a good solid foundation

I brought a friend with me the first time - it made it less scary and I had someone to giggle about it with. But if you can't get anyone to go with you it doesn't really matter - lots of people show up on their own which means pretty much everyone is really friendly. Just do it...

I'm planning on going to some classes at a local dance place (not the MoB workshops, yet!) - bit nervous about it as I bet everyone there will be better than me, but there's no shame in making a bit of an effort. I just hope the teachers are good and I rein in my clumsiness!

Nothing ventured nothing gained....
I have no dance experience at all, I'm over weight and rapidly approaching the big '4 0'
Despite this, I think I might book onto the Manchester one for a laugh, so if you do go ahead, be safe in the knowledge that there's someone much worse out there.... me!
Hope you have fun at your classes...
