HELP! How Best To Keep Pasties On?
:help:
My other half performed at Sweet Burlesque last night - and once again one of her pasties fell off, that's the third time in four performances! I think Angel needs some help from the more experienced ladies on the forum.
What do you use to hold those pasties on, especially if you intend to tassle twirl for between 30 seconds and a minute? And where do you buy the stuff from - website link, shop name or whatever?
Thanks in advance.

I use Fallness lingerie tape you get get extra strong stuff as the pasties in my Bond routine are very heavy diamonta and they stay on with that. Its also very sensitive to you skin. They have only ever come off twice and that was my fault for not taking time to put the tape on right.

spirit gum guarantees they stay on, I have never dropped a pastie even with water. If you google spirit gum one of the first results is an online thetrical shop which sells some really good one. Jo's handbook tells you all the alternatives - some people hate spirit gum, but I personally never had any problems with it. xx Honey

Toupee tape! Ordinary lingerie tape isn't quite strong enough, but toupee tape is meant to stick hairpieces to heads and last all day, so a pair of pasties is easy. Just search eBay for it and you'll find plenty of hairdressers and suppliers.

Thank you to all the ladies who responded. Angel has now invested in some Toupee Tape - the downside is that any venue she performs at will no longer get the support of the rain coat brigade!

Double sided cellotape!!
It's awesome and only cost £1-2 a roll, you even get a sweet little dispenser with it :-)
Make sure it's 'cellotape' though and not the cheap stuff!!!

I tried this once to make a halterneck top extra secure as I had run out of bodytape I have quite sensitive skin its not majorly sensitive and I'm fine wearing body tape but double sided tape ripped some of my skin off with the tape ouch!so If your gonna use this maybe test it on your arm or something first

Angel was taught well - MoBs very own Kittie Klaw told her that it would probably happen at some point, and the solution is either get on with the act or cover exposed nipple with a hand if you can. In all cases Angel has got on with the act, she's a firm beliver of the show must go on, but she is annoyed that the nipple slip is in danger of becoming her signature.
Funnily enough, the first time a pastie fell off at Cinnamon Champagne Portsmouth (shameless plug for Willow Blue and Ruby Reds night) she actually incorporated the slip into the act.
