Thread: Hello Dears :)

I'm brand new to this wonderful website so forgive me if i'm not posting this in the right place.
Just turned 18, I just LOVE the Burlesque scene and find it fasinating as a performing art, I'm really intrested in starting it if anyone can give me advice?
I'm starting Uni in southamption(fingers crossed) in september Doing Comedy Writing and Performing .. at the moment i'm in the northwest so i'd Love to hear about the local and distant places.

Hello Sweets,
You are in for a treat if you do come to Southampton,
In Southampton there are three regular nights - plus around another 6 not too far away in Bournemouth & Portsmouth. All of which are run by friendly & encouraging people and often help debut new performers. There are regular courses both for those wanting to try the basics and those wanting to start performing .
