Hello my lovely! I love your on stage character, but I know what mean, I've been trying to do the same. What I started with was taking facets of my own personality, amplyfying them then using them as ingredients to build a character. So, for example, I am -I like to think! - kinda classy and coy, so Peaches is quite demure (so Im told). However, if you were quite a bubbly, flirty person you could pick up on these things. Then you can start to work your character into the act - how they act and react, how they perform etc.

Om hoping, like Joe said, I will get better though!
