Hey

I do poledancing (not in a club!), and I'm looking to incorporate that into a burlesque routine. getting poledancing lessons and adding a burlesquey touch into it may be a way to go?

There are several wonderful pole dancers I know of who have incorporated burlesque into their routines and also vice versa. Check out Miss Glory Pearl, she has a fabulous show where she is a pole dancing granny!

Ive been pole dancing for a while now and will be incoprating that into my burlesque. Imagine climbing up the pole and taking of layers and you slowly slide down. hehe.

My hubby is going to make me a portable pole with a base so thatI can use it at different places!

Violet,

I've been dying to have a go at this too, after seeing P!nk on tour last year. I scooted out some FB groups, heres one Pheonix. Hope that helps a bit. It seems a really hard thing to get into in the UK, especially in a small town like ours.

I went to a pole dancing class yesterday and gave everyone at work a good laugh today with my stiff and graceless moving today - I didn't expect it to be quite so strenuous!

Green top do good trapeze classes either on a weekday evening or about once a month on a weekend. The class timetable is here:

Spring Programme
