Hi there Holly,
As Joe said, Missy Macabre (who I've never had the pleasure of seeing but have heard is wonderful) or Red Sarah (who I have seen and know is
) would both be excellent choices but if you aren't in their area check to see if there are fire workshops near you. RWP have run fire workshops before in Glasgow if you're anywhere near there. Most importantly, make sure that whoever teaches you has proper insurance to do so and can go over all of the safety aspects first. As any good fire performer will tell you, there are some very easy mistakes that can have some very bad consequences for even seasoned performers so make sure you get someone trustworthy to go over the basics and keep you safe.
All the best with it!

Years ago, when I was at College in Brighton. I knew a young danish student who was a fire eater/breather, he was amazing. We went to Germany with college and he entertained us every night with his firebreathing, generally outside in thick snow, much to the horror of the college staff.
I would love to learn, but I have issues with matches and lighters, also Hubby is a fire officer so I don't think he would be very impressed.Last edited by MissPussyCat; 01-03-2010 at 09:57 PM.
