I think Ballet and Belly dancing are the best to learn. Ballet, purely it will help you with grace and ease of movement on stage, and Bellydance has very similar moves to Burlesque . Its also a great workout.

What persona do you want to play? Burlesque doesn't have any set moves it's more a class of entertainment than a style of dance /performance so pretty much anything can fit in. Ballet is a good basis for most European types of dance but that said I've seen all sorts from demi-pointe ballet through tribal belly dance to disco and jazz (not to mention many others) all used to great effect in performances. So pretty much anything will work well in the right context and with the right persona behind it

Any kind of dance will help you on stage. Fundamentals such as rhythm, charisma, stage presence and choreography apply to all forms of dance .
