Aw, thanks, Kittie

I have to say, I feel very humbled by your recommendation. And agree that Elena is amazing! Not only is she a superb performer, she is an excellent and dedicated teacher and I would recommend her every time if you want to learn pole.
BTW, are you running your Delicious workshop again? It sounds really interesting!

Some information on Red Sarah who can be PM'd through the MoB site

Sarah is a celebrated Drag King and Circus oriented burlesque performer with a wealth of experience to share:
Circus workshops - Redsarah can teach privately or in a group setting some pretty skill-full circus techniques including Stilts, Poi, Fire manipulation and safety . She also has an equipment Building service as the majority of the equipment for sale in the usual places is not quite up to her standards so, she makes her own and yours too if you want !!!
Drag King for a day - a class run by 'Casanova' himself. This is a group workshop focused on trying out masculine techniques to put into an act or to simply enjoy. RedSarah specialises in male burlesque characters by exaggerating macho qualities and over acting the male libido. " an extremely enjoyable day "
Act Doctor - This is a private session whereby anyone struggling with a current act can bring it to a safe and professional person for constructive critique and some ideas and questions on how to move forwards or someone with an act idea who needs help and advice in how to make it come alive. Sarah specifically focuses on "what makes this act burlesque ?" and "is it entertaining?"

Hi Lottie,
Noone comes to mind who is based there (members, feel free to PM me if you think there is someone suitable).
However, experienced teachers can easily travel - what would you like to learn specifically? PM me to discuss and I'll see who will be suited.
Also, on 19th September I will be running a Pin Up model workshop with Tip Top Photography. This takes place 12 - 3pm and is before our High Tease show at the Glee club that evening.
I am considering holding a burlesque workshop also on a different day - again anyone interested can PM me and I'll take a look at numbers.
Let me know if interested.

I've just seen a cancan workshop advertised on Dance City (Newcastle)'s website:
Dance City - Workshops & Events
Is this an MoB workshop? It seems to have been perfectly timed to finish just before the start of one (Dance City - Workshops & Events)Last edited by Satin Amy; 08-14-2010 at 09:53 AM. Reason: added name of city
