Sorry for the long delay in responding my life is a lil topsy turvy at the mo. Again thank you for all the responses, they all make sense. ( although I must admit I am a bit confused)
I hear what Cherryfox is saying and I guess, i'm... myself playing different characters and sometimes aspects of myself.. ummm lol ? does that make sense ?
I also found the different breakdowns Emerald Ace describes really helpful : ). I think for the beginning it would be helpful for me to ... lighten up, have fun and focus on the things i'm passionate about, create a routine around them yippee.
MadametoLeave you have written my routine for me.. you know me to well. I love the ideas and am going to work on them. The little Crow ,The Slave Girl, The Black Butterfly, you know them all lol xx
Thank you all so much
Perplexed but learning Coco x

Hahaha! I have been doing this for almost four years and I am still pretty much permanently perplexed when it comes to the creative process. But part of me feels like if it wasn't hard it wouldn't be fun!
Good luck hunny!

Wow, I've just read this whole section and would like to thank all involved because it has been really useful to me also! Particulary the part about not just doing something you think is 'Burlesque', I have recently seen rather a lot of this and its also wonderful to know where all these fabulous personas and characters come from!
Thanks again....heres to lots of other wierd and wonderful characters coming to a nearby stage soon!
