    Default Burlesque in Rome

Hi all, I'm planning a trip to Rome around the 8th Oct. Does anyone know of any shows/events in out there. I've done a search and have come up with club micca? but there must be more than that?

    Thanks x

I share your frustration : I go to Rome about 6 times a year, having lived there for a few years ( before the burlesque boom, sadly) but all the internet ever produces is La Micca ( which can be fun, depending on who's on that night. I've been twice : once was great, once was awful! venue is ok, though)
There is a Dr. Sketchys in Trastevere; otherwise try burlesque .it or if you do Facebook then contact Attilio Reinhart, who runs 'burlesque italia', directly; I think he is actually based in Milan, but may have an idea of what's going on further south.
Connie Douglas seems to get great acts to Milan, and there have been some shows in Viareggio this summer, but apart from a rather lack-lustre 'school for housewives' based at La Micca there doesn't seem much.
The Italians are terrible for never publicising things in advance!
And please let me know if you have any luck! I'm off to La Citta Eterna on Sunday!
