Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I really must make more time for MOB!!!
Our debut was fantastic, we were blessed with truly wonderful acts! The Spanking Sparkles started things off with Hypnotease which was a great double act performance and was much fun, Madison and Calliope's act was indeed stunning and as perfect as dark Burlesque performance can be, the girls are true stars! Dani California's acts were a real treat, the Ballet inspired Butterfly routine was beautiful and, the specially choreographed, Cirque Noir performance was really special and a load of fun. Mari Gold's Mummy and Back to Black acts were really unique and had everyone whooping (+ picking up the bandages certainly kept me on my toes!). Malady's acts were as dark as they come and perfect for our 'counter culture' tastes, our guests lapped it up & I loved evey minute.
Dani recorded some of the acts which we have on our Myspace Page at MySpace.com - Kabarett: 15 Nov @ the Voodoo Rooms - 26 - Female - UK - www.myspace.com/itsykabarett.
Our next outing is 15th of November at the Voodoo Rooms which, much to my regret, clashes with Fanteaseya's launch. Though the itsy gals will be rushing over for a dance when were done so will see you all there!
Dee (& Electra) xx

Hi Iolair,
Have just PMed Lilly about this night actually.
Recording is no problem , lots of people do it and in fact we will hopefully have a cameraman onhand so none of this:

Well, as you know, I'm no Southsider. But on all my various jaunts to that neck of the woods (coming from the motorway up Titwood Rd as one does) I honestly always thought that wee building was some dodgy bunker....
It's actually quite wonderful inside. The kind of place that should have a tinsel backdrop (and when La Roche Rumba is on, it does!)
As some of the key Club Tromolo people are southsiders and regulars there, we had a couple of runthroughs there (it seemed somehow appropriate), and here's a picture of my Charlie, working hard as always.

Yeah, same here. Even if I'd had more than 2 days notice, it would still be a no-goer. Hey ho!

Alas I won't make this, but it sounds fun! Lots of my favourite Scottish Scene ladies and gents AND The Creative Martyrs - what a line-up!
