So sad that I never managed to get my dalek to Dr Sketchy's Brum.....though maiding at the Waterworld made up for this a million times, it was an experience I will hold with me for years to come.

I can't believe it's been a year already, it seems only yesterday we were all freezing our behinds off in the centre of Birmingham burlesqueing up Queen Vic....and what a superb year of Dr Sketchy's you've put on Candee! You and Jacob and Scarlet, tDG, Ditzy, Liz and all the other people I'm really sorry I'm forgetting - you should be applauded for bringing such a wonderful, quirky, varied Show to the West Midlands.

It's one of the things I going to miss the most in the US (although they have a Dr Sketchy's in Phoenix woo hoo! but I'm not convinced any show could match the wonderful mix of burlesque -faithful with proper artists and art students (and yes I recognise that some wonderful people sit in both camps....Parma Violet and Miserabelle for starters)......*ducks things being thrown at her by Dr Sketchy's shows that are just as brilliant in London, Nottingham, Glasgow etc*

I love you, everyone at Dr Sketchy's Brum, you helped more than you can ever imagine in rehabilitating me and getting me out of the house, making wonderful hopefully life-long friendships, making me laugh so much it hurt, getting me drawing again after nearly 25 years of not picking up a pencil, convincing me to start making things again - I tell you one thing, there is absolutely no way on earth Big Bob and all the Bobettes from my Russian Doll act would have come about without Dr Sketchy's Brum re-igniting my creative bug!! So words cannot thank you enough Candee for all the hardwork you have put in in the last year and before to bring this to fruition.

Going to have to stop now, coz gues what I'm crying again.....good happy cathartic crying.....but it's going to make the keyboard all soggy any minute now.

ps. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! so sorry I can't be with you.....especially as you have cake

Stop gushing tempy! We'll all still be here when you get back as will dr sketchy's brum, I shall send you copies of all my pictures so you wont miss a thing!

It's Candee's party and I'll gush if I want to, gush if I want to, gush if I want to, you would gush to if it happened to you!

Wait till you see me on Sunday night. I'm thinking of investing in serious waterproof mascara.

In the meantime, I blew up and framed a photo of all of Team Nice from the original Dr Sketchys Birmingham meet up to have on my wall in Phoenix to remind me I need come back to you all soon. It makes me grin everytime I see Candee's gorgeous laugh and Tallulah in her witch's hat:
