Seem to be a trend in brum to censor artwork, i remember Robert O Lenkiwicz Exhibition having two pieces censored luckily i knew the owner of the gallery putting his exhibition on so i got to see the 2 pieces, arent we all adults and can judge for ourselfs Art is different to all i know what i like and what i dont like but i should be the judge of it not a council telling me oh glad to get that of my chest lol

Families visiting the exhibition were going to be 'deprived' of the 'excellent' work in the gallery space if my photograph remained in the corridor on the way towards it.
Gr. Oh well defeats the point of my work but does prove the point lol

Which photo was going to be in the corridor? The one that's now inside the room before you go through the curtains? or the one in the catalogue?
I have to admit my daughter keeps begging me to take her to art galleries and there are some pieces in the exhibition she'd love (on the ground floor Jonathan Kelham's and Christine Pickford's and on the first floor Tom Gilmour's, Jospeh Weldon's, Michele Carruthers', Ishmay Ozga-Lawn's and Jody Kimber's works...........................erm, and I didn't note down anyone's in the attic......) but I don't honestly think I'd take her in to see yours Kyle....personally I love it and was one of the best things in the whole exhibition (excluding that fantastic installation that featured that fantastic woman taking her clothes off and becoming a dalek!!!
) I think it's wonderful and it really says something, but it's a bit much for an 11 year old so whereas I don't think it should have been censored.....I think a warning probably was warranted.

Didn't drop by on Sunday as my motorcycle was packed up in advance of a few days away, and didn't want to leave it parked up in town! However, I will be dropping by sat morning on the way to the workshop at the Glee Club. It would be an ideal start to a burlesque day.
