    Default Wrexham events?

I've got a friend who lives in Wrexham and wants to bring himself and his good lady to a night of debauchery.

Failing that, is there a night going on anywhere near to Wrexham?

    Thanks! x

Not sure about Wrexham itself but there are definitely events in Chester, Stoke on Trent (come Autumn) and Liverpool. Goes off to find them....

Telford's warehouse in Chester is a good bet (20 mins away by car) but have a feeling there next show isn't till October. Martini Lounge in Liverpool is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Don't think there are any in Wrexham itself.

Also think that Dani California should know if there are still some in Alexanders in chester too

    Lol, hello  heehee

Yes, Carnival Divine are coming to Alexander's Jazz Theatre in Chester but the date has yet to be finalised. It'll be sometime next month and I will let everyone know when it is.

Also, I'm organising a night myself in Chester, a one-off for charity. It'll be on the 5th October (a Sunday) and there'll be bands, burlesque and lots of excitement, but again, I'll let you all know when that will be.

And the next Telfords night is in october

Does he go to Manchester for nights out cause there are a lot there. And also you can get direct trains now to London and Birmingham for those nights there. All depends on how far he is willing to go. But I'm going to repeat myself and really plug the Martini Lounge. You get glasses of Bubbly, nibbles and a really great view of the stage

The one at Alexander's was Dixies Dollhouse, they did three shows in April, May and June but cancelled after that as Dixie is from the North East and it was getting too difficult to travel all the way.

Due to the outcry over the cancellation, Alexander's management (myself included! ) began looking for other promoters and Carnival Divine stepped forward. The first night was meant to be this Sunday, but one of thier people couldn't make it and there was a clash with another night nearby them so it's been put on hold for a night in September.

And as I say, I'll be running one myself on the 5th October and will let everyone know when I have all the details!
