That was a DJ in-joke... did you miss it? :duck: Oops straight over the head... I was AGREEING with you.
I've been DJing professionally (i.e it's at least part of my living) for 8 years, all manner of gigs from tiny clubs up to main arena DJ for 8,000 people. So I know my stuff too.
Can't get a whiff of a burlesque DJ gig; as you can only do burlesque DJing if you have previously DJ'd burlesque gigs, you have to be born as one, I think.
Enjoy your success - never mind doing it for free, I will be actually be paying around £300 to get to do my first burlesque DJ gig! How sad is that?

Like most things, to get burly DJing gigs you need to do some networking. You need to get to know the promoters, really, and preferably let them know what you can do when they're drunk and pliable and feeling generous!
I've both scored and given DJ gigs in those circumstances.
