Jack the Ripper (a musical play)
The amateur theatrical company I am with are staging a production of Ron Pember's Jack the Ripper between the 29th March and 5th April.
It's at the Playhouse theatre in Cheltenham.
It's English-style burlesque in the true sense of the word. Set partly in a music hall theme, where the Chairman also plays Sir Charles Warren and one of the other characters doubles as Queen Victoria. Lots of fiercely patriotic and non-pc stuff.
I have a small part (I play a policeman(!)). Tickets are £10, and sadly I can't get people a discount just because I'm in it.
