Default High Tease - Nottingham, 8th October

    BOOK NOW

The wonderful people at The Glee Club have invited MoB to produce High Tease in their venues across the UK.

Great news for Nottingham in that the 8th October will see the one and only DUSTY LIMITS host a magnificent array of MoB favourites.

More acts to be confirmed as well as Battle of Burlesque fun Myself and Jim Devereaux will also take a turn solo and in our double act too.

It was such a delight for us to be invited to do this and we look forward to see you all there Many moons ago we started our show in Nottingham in a supper club that is now closed - it is absolutely our pleasure to return 5 years on with more punch and panache than ever. Don't miss out!

Do please book as early as you can.

    Smile Thank you

Bargain. Think me and the girlfriend might come along then. Just looked at the dress code and not got anything that falls within the stated categories (attire: vintage , dandy, eccentric, theatrically dangerous) New to it all but really enjoying it. Will I look out of place in evening wear of should I just splash out on some new bits!! Don’t mind if I have to should you recommend it. If so any suggestions on any online shopping for men??

Hello lovely Ministry Of Burlesque people. I'd just like top say a HUGE thank you for putting on such an incredible show last night in Nottingham.

I've been to the Pitty Pat Club and another one which was like a glorified art class and both times I left feeling really disappointed.

Your show was just on a different level though and I loved every single minute of it to the point where my friend and I were still txting each other about our favourite bits at 3am this morning.

When are you coming back to Nottingham and who will be performing if you do? I need to make sure I get my tickets asap because I'm going to be bringing some other friends who refused to attend your show because they thought it was going to be like the other two I mentioned above.

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone had seen this review from the Nottingham Evening Post - it's rather complimentary!

Review: Ministry of Burlesque , Glee Club

The ladies and gentlemen from The Ministry of Burlesque presented their portfolio at Glee Club and boy, was it colourful!
The original concept was born in Nottingham five years ago and it has matured into a riotous outburst of variety.
Hosted by Dusty Limits, a wry commentator and satirist, he led the way with sharp parodies of 'Torn' and new lyrics to an Abba song which brought the full house down.
Local burlesque eccentric, Emerald Ace, presented a highly unique piece and it is good to see the burgeoning local scene featured.

Count Adriano from Italy gave a tremendous turn aboard a very high unicycle and whipped the exuberant crowd to new heights of rapture.
Burlesque is a highly visual art form and the costumes and routines of the artistes were all outstanding.
Kitty Claws did a Britannia tribute to please the Coalition Government and Dani California's butterfly rig was delightful.
Bella Amour featured lindy hopping and grace in her spots and Dolores Delight was a slinky songstress who gave a fabulous rendering of Judy Garland's Maybe This Time.
Replete with James Devereaux's superb Elvis Finale, I think that the resplendently dressed fans and the performers will be seeing each other again very soon.
    Pure brilliance!

Very good and well done everyone. Except they got my name wrong in the article.
