High Tease - Oxford, 10th Oct
BOOK NOW!
The wonderful people at The Glee Club have invited MoB to produce High Tease in their venues across the UK.
Great news for Oxford in that the 10th October will see the one and only DUSTY LIMITS host a magnificent array of MoB favourites.
Acts to be confirmed as well as Battle of Burlesque fun
Myself and Jim Devereaux will also take a turn solo and in our double act too.
It was such a delight for us to be invited to do this and we look forward to see you all there
Do please support us as this is our Oxford debut!
Do please book as early as you can.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Are there still places available for the battle of burlesque ? If so, how would one go about applying, please, Kitty?
Practically perfect in every way...

I would be interested in battle of burlesque too if places aren't taken.

There certainly are ladies - PM me

Vaudeville Rave - hello and welcome to the MoB community. You can actually start your own thread if you'd like to tell our members, fans and customers about your own event. It is also customary to participate in discussion on here if you wish to advertise like this for free. Thanks.

Hi,
it wasnt ment to be free promotion it was ment to highlight that we'll be in competition, I did send you an in depth email but didn't hear back.

No such email has been received. Your previous post on this thread is the first encounter we have had of you/your event.
Your post certainly does appear to be promoting your event (announcing your title, venue, date, capacity and line up) - and on a thread which was created by us, to promote our own event.
As your event is two weeks after ours, I don't see that we are in direct competition in any way. Furthermore, your line up is:
"The Correspondents, Dutty Moonshine, Mr B and Kormac"
Apart from Mr B (who I assume is the Gentleman Rhymer, a regular cast member of High Tease ) we do not know who the others are.
It seems that any feelings of competition are one way.
We have worked hard to nurture the growing scenes and emerging industry for the best part of a decade. Almost all of the promoters involved in burlesque in the UK have at some point, used our forums to promote their events. We continue to support this. We do however, require that such activity is conducted in the spirit of community where promoters contribute to the discussions and start their own threads when announcing event details.Last edited by Kittie; 08-16-2010 at 06:46 PM.
