I get the same feeling sometimes floating around the forums with my own, similar photographical aspirations.
The other resident togs have seemed nothing but friendly as far as I've experienced them, though, so try not to worry.

Thanks for the welcome everyone and the kind comments - reading through the threads the social side looks appealing as well. Have always liked the idea of the Goth weekend at Whitby and keep meaning to get a full length leather coat and go down the Dracula route, there seems to be a shared view on gents clothing here as well - I might even think about it as a persona as a photographer

Yes, still interested, couldn't get down there yesterday (work ) wont bore you with the details.

Rather than mess about I think the best thing is to just book a day and see who turns up. If you could check with the lady who's contacted you to see if she would be OK on the 27th and I'll contact the lady who got in touch with me

If that's a possibility then I'll give you a buzz in the week to sort it and then confirm on here, if anyone else wants to jump in then so much the better
