There doesnt seem to be much happening on the burlesque front in Liverpool, can anyone enlighten me?? Thanks xx

Best to contact Millie dollar or Bella Besame as they were both running regular Burly nights up until fairly recently but not sure it they are still going, i think Millie's is but has changed venues?!?!
Not really much going on tbh considering it is a big city

The Martini Lounge, purveyors of Burlesque Shows of the highest calibre to Liverpool's most discerning punters, is continuing it's second year at the Downstairs Bar, Royal Court Liverpool.

Burlesque evenings harken back to nights of old when there was nothing better than sitting in comfort and watching a performer dance , tease and amuse whilst wrapped in elaborate costume. Wood panelling, mood lighting, fizz and nibbles are there to make you feel entirely at ease before the the glamour is added by the flexible fantasists and flamboyant fan dancers on stage. Always cheeky, sometimes naughty, the ladies and gents of the Martini Lounge will scintillate and titillate with their wild and wonderful ways.

Tickets just £15 including a glass of bubbly and nibbles.

Damn it i've been keeping my eyes open for this and now i've missed it!! Only 1 ticket left to buy...... may leave my details at the Royal Court and see if they get any returns!! xx

yes indeed there is Millie's regular night at Martini Lounge but. There is also Dadalesque on the 29th of this month. I will be performing as will Fred Bear, Millie Dollar , Mat Fraser , Julie Atlas Muz to name but a few. Its going to be a great show in the Blue Coat theater. There is also Liz Lacey's night I will be performing for her at New Year at Zelig's. Don't know the line up yet but it should be fab.

Hey, thanks guys.

I already got my tickets for the martini lounge, great cos I missed out on the last couple! Thanks for the heads up for the other nites, my husband plays piano at zeligs so should get myself down to that one. I just think there should be more going on for the 'city of culture'.
