I am so proud to announce "The Missy Malone & Friends Burlesque Revue" 4/5/6th Feb 2010!!

Produced by the Lollipop Lounge and presented by The Everyman Theatre!

February 4th - 6th sees the Everyman Theatres burlesque debut show as international star Missy Malone take to the stage in The Missy Malone & Friends Burlesque Revue. A stage show with a difference! Every night will see the cast perform a different show, with some of the biggest names in the burlesque and cabaret scene including Vicky Butterfly , Leyla Rose , Desmond O Connor and Christian Lee. Each show will be unique, containing an array of burlesque performances, comedy cabaret, musical numbers and magic.

Thurs 4th - Show 7.30pm
Frid 5th - Show 7.30pm & 10pm
Sat 6th - Show 8pm

The Missy Malone & Friends Burlesque Revue are offering performers the chance to showcase their acts on stage as part of one of the four theatre shows.

We are calling for performers from all levels from newbie to professional , and all genres. We have split the categories as follows:

- Comedy (Stand Up, Sketches and Musical)

- Cabaret (Singing, Burlesque , Dance and Magic)

- Circus & Physical Theatre

- Literature (Poetry, Prose & Dramatics)

- Music

All applications will be considered although we only have four places as shows run from Thursday 4th – Saturday 6th February 2010.

The success applicants will not only have the chance to perform alongside some of the UK’s most established Burlesque and Cabaret performers including Missy Malone , Leyla Rose , Vicky Butterfly , Desmond O’Connor and Christian Lee but will be part of a professional theatre production at The Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham which will be professional photographed and video recorded.

This is open to anyone within the South West who is over the age of 18.

Applications have to have been submitted by the 21st December 2009.

Please note this is an unpaid opportunity to perform in a professional theatre production.

LINEUP

There has been a line up change as unfortunatley Christian Lee is unable to do all three shows. Therefore we have replaced him with the wonderful Frisky & Mannish to replace him on Thursday and both Fridays shows. Saturday nights replacement to be announced.
