Default Burlesque in Manchester

Hi there all - its my first go at this (actually its my 2nd but it all got wiped in the crash....) ut basically I want to find out where the burlesque scene is happening in Manchester.
I've been a burlesque follower for about a year and a half now, have done quite a few classes and a few performances with my class, organised by our teacher.
But look though i have through google and what's on etc, i can't seem to find any burlesque events going on in the city.
Can anyone help?

Hi Daisy-May,

I think there are lots of nights popping up in Manchester - check out the 'What's On' as everyone is allowed to put up their event info there for a free listing.

Ministry of Burlesque's High Tease will be coming to The Lowry theatre on 17th July - more info to follow!

DJ Mikey Wong - you have been cross posting and duplicating all over the place, this is why some posts have been deleted. Spamming is not conducive to a healthy forum. You have been informed of this by PM and you have even replied to it, so I'm not sure why you are commenting here now too.

Stop deleting my Slippery Belle threads then! Hehe

The next one is Fri 19th Feb, our 3rd birthday party, which is also acting as an aftershow-party for the Cherry Poppin Daddies gig in Manc that night!

Sat 27th March we're also doing a Salford Lowry show, so chuck us some flyers for High Tease, Kittie mate, & I'll stick some out on the tables & whatnot. x

as kittie has said, cross posting and duplicating is not appropriate
this forum is for everyone to use, not a spamming ground.
so polite posting would be appreciated...

Hi,

I am hoping to solve this problem in the near future!! Manchester is lacking the glue and consistency in terms of burlesque events and I am looking to get a community established and organise some events and chances to meet others with the same interests. Watch this space!!!

Yours Truly,

Whiskey Raven

That's great news that High Tease is coming to the Lowry! I had a wonderful evening at Victorian Values at The British Library, but haven't, as yet, had the pleasure of High Tease - I shall look forward to it!

Aaaahh....and I got to see you, my lovely. One can never have too much Joe Black! xx

(....and clearly, I'm not as computer literate as I thought. I still haven't figured out how to insert a quote)!
