Default Ideas for outfits around a waspie - help!

I just bought a black satin waspie and am stuck for ideas of outfits to wear it with. I normally wear my overbust corsets just with a pencil skirt. I'm not really sure about going out with a white shirt, pencil skirt and waspie (which is the classic underbust outfit I see girls wear), but I wear shirts and pencil skirts to work so I want to wear something different at night. I've heard people wear them with dresses, but most of my dresses are strapless bodycon affairs which def aren't right and I'm not sure what type of dress to buy instead. If anyone has any links to cute tops or dresses that would look good with a waspie to share, I'd be grateful! I'm normally good at planning outfits but this has me stumped!

A nice blouse or a lovely dress is what you need. a dress that falls of the shoulder might be nice. Either tight or loose around the hips.

If you want more of a casual look you could wear with high waisted jeans and a vest tucked in.
I have worn mine with a vest with a satin bow on and a rara skirt before and it looked nice

for a going out look, you could try wearing a sheer strappy vest type thing as a base. Then play about with a scarf or a couple of bits of material strategically drapped and tucked or pinned, halter neck style, around the shoulders like a shrug or over the shoulders. hope that helps

I'm going to buy a nice waspie when I have enough money. I think i'll wear it to make a simple outfit look really pretty, like Carly said, maybe with jeans and a simple vest.
