Burlesque Style Bustle

Hi, I need some help please. I am trying to make myself a bustle to either attach to frilly knicker or similar. Does any-one have any ideas where I should start? Any instructions or types of fabric etc would be great.

Hi, i bought one off ebay, only cost about £12. But if you are gonna make one I would suggest using fancy patterned netting,

funnily enough I have been going back to a post I made ages ago called
'Help making Hooped under skirts and bustles'
As I am making a new costume and am taking on some of the advice I got on here. It gives great tips, patterns and sites you can go to. Red Sarah has even added an image of a hopped skirt she made.

for your knickers, try making a big bow out of some satiny material- but be sure to put some heavy interfacing on it before you start, so it can keep its shape...
