ready made tassles in Manchester
For everyone in the Manchester area. I went to abakhans on Saturday and they are selling bags of 4 of tassles for £1.50. I've never bought any before so I don't know whether or not this is a normal price but it seemed like a bargain to me so I thought I'd pass it on.
Happy twirling everyone

Wow, that's a bit mad!
What are they like? Are they any good? For that price, I wouldn't expect much...
If they're good, I'll definitely get me to Manchester!!

I'll try to add a photo later
Yes it is just the tassles not the pasties. They seem quite good quality to me but I've not really got anything to compare them to. i made some pasties with them and tried them out for twirling. They worked pretty good, especially as I've never tried tassle twirling before. I'll dig out my camera and try to put pictures up later.

picture of tassle
heres a picture of one of the tassles. It measures about 10cm long from the top of the nobbly bit (sorry not well up on the terminology lol) and when I hed it up and measured across the dangly bit it was about 2cm across. There were a couple of different colours so I don't know if they were all the same quality. They were in one of the baskets near the door. I didn't actually go up to the aberdashery part but I'm guessing they'll sell them separately up there

To give you an idea of how they look on pasties
Here's a picture of my very first attempt at pastie (pasty?) making, using the tassles I bought. Then I got carried away and made some bat ones for halloween (I made my own tassles for these though)
