It's so sad, I can just about manage the fringe one! It doesn't help that my hairdresser cut me really short layers on one side so I get one side bigger than the other! I'm having some photos done and am having to go get my hair done at a salon because I can't manage it lol, nevermind, I shall have lovely hair for one day! :-) xxx

Just keep trying it, everyone fails at first. It takes many efforts to make it look effortless ...

Have you specifically told them what you want doing? Is the hairdresser trained in vintage styles? Remember that most hairdressers today never learn how to do things like victory rolls because there's little to no demand, so always make sure your stylist can do it rather than turning up and hoping for the best
