Tips for Very Long Hair!!!
As the title gives away..... I have very long hair and i wondered if anyone has any tips for easy up do's or techiniques to curl the hair.
I have my usual ways of curling the hair (scrunching or tonging) and ive made attempts at up dos but i just thought id ask someone maybe more experienced for hairstyle advice. Thank You

Being the weirdo that I am, I just noticed there's a DC theme going on with people who are posting here: Miss D.C. then Dani California and then December Charm!
...well here I come to ruin it with an F.F! he he. I have long, thick hair. I'm trying to get into styling it more as I wear it straight and plain most of the time. I tried to curl it saturday night using velcro rollers but it didn't work. Don't think I left them in long enough to be honest and I also don't think attempting curling for the first time without tongs is best done before a night out! whoops! I was really late going out after pulling all the rollers out and I got there and my friends said 'what took you so long?' to which I replied 'curling my hair, sorry'. Then they stared at me blankly with disbelief because there was not a curl to be seen!

Haha you should have pretended they were invisible curls. Like the Emperor's new curls
And that DC theme was odd. It's the sort of thing I usually notice.

My best friend is a huge fan of the "false claim", as she calls it. she often has invisible jackets/ jewellery/hats and confuses people by asking if they like it.
Another favourite is telling people Lily Allen is her cousin (Her surname is Allen). Apparantly that backfired when somebody actually believed her and got all excited, asking for an autograph. She had to fabricate a whole story about how there was a fight between their father's so she doesn't see Lily much

Thanks for those links, I think ill just keep watching them over and over again and try and repeat it in my hair as i watch.......Ready...Steady..Style!!! rather than ready steady cook
And the DC theme is pretty cool. Love it when things like that happen.
Oh and another thing. Do people really sleep in rollers??? How??? And what fabrics best to wrap around my head when i have my rollers in.

My younger sister once did that about a bloke on a certain TV show (I'm saying nothing or you'll figure out my icky real life surname!) - told all of her friends he was her cousin. She even added little details like 'You see that chain he's wearing? My mum bought him that for his birthday'. Unbelievably, they fell for it!

Haha that's really funny! I can't do that with my surname. It's so unusual that I've never met somebody outside of my family with it. I quite like that though.
And my christian name is a shortened down version of another name. I've never met anyone who is actually called the same, without just shortening it. If that makes sense (for example- Steph instead of Stephanie, or Kat instead of Katherine).
