You may want to replace your laces with rayon rat-tail. You can get this at any fabric store. They are very silky; once you untie the knot, just arch your back slightly and the laces should unlace quickly.

But then again, a nice slow tease while unlacing your corset will send your audience in a tizzy.

if it has a busk that opens in the front then you can just do it that way. It's hard to say without seeing the actual corset but if it isn't one that opens in the front then the suggestion of the rat-tail cord would be the next course of action.

If it isn't one that opens at the front then don't try to take it off onstage! Wriggling to get it over your head is very unglamorous ...

Simple way - don't lace it up fully onstage, then you don't have to spend too much time loosening it and it's easier to take off. Loosen the lacing, and then undo the busk. Never try to open the busk without unlacing first - you'll damage it.

Alternatives are to use a plastic boned cheapie basque for onstage, as you don't have to worry so much about damaging it, and in most cases you don't need to unlace the back before undoing the front, which usually fastens with hooks and eyes.
