That sounds great tip top, I might have a little look into places to hire or something later this week. Would it probably be best for it to be in the town centre of Birmingham, good for transport etc.
I'm A brummie girl, about 3 miles from the city centre so I don't mind travelling if need be.
Just had a thought, if we were to organise something in Brum city centre, we could change it come back to college/uni months so that those who travel in can tie it into their journey or something maybe.
Really nice to have your help with this tip top, it's greatly appreciated.

Right I'll get my thinking cap on and attempt to find somewhere to hold a craft session in the city centre.
Would you want to bring your own equipment, or would I need to provide some equipment? What sort of things do you want to make, stick to a strictly burlesque theme or all sorts?

I'm in Halesowen!!!
I am more than happy to help out with anything.
I think an initial meeting is required before arranging any venues making comittments etc.. just so everyones expectations of the group are covered etc...
Its difficult to arrange something electronically, a good old fashioned meet up at a pub always works well - everyone can then discuss what their aims are, what they hope to get out of the group etc.. and all discuss a way forward.

Hello! I'd most definitely like to join in.
(Edgbaston, I sew mainly, but will have a go at anything.Yesterday's fascinator is a case in point.)
Even finding a space to 'sit 'n' sew' or 'sit 'n' do-your-own-thing' so other people can have a look, natter and compare notes might be a way to start.
Anyway, sounds like a sterling idea.

A meet up sounds tres magnifique!
Whereabouts would people want to meet up, I know for sure somewhere like scruffy murphys wouldnt complain about luscious burlesque ladies showing up lol.
I'm currently signed off work, so I can quite literally show up whenever suits people. Any ideas for times and locations, sorry if i'm leaping on this a bit!

Well... Harbourne is middle ground... The Swan is a lovely drinking hole and eaterie in case anyone fancies a little bite to eat - its also outside of town so those people who are driving wont have problems parking.
If this is not suitable, there are a few more nice pubs on the Hagley Road.
When would be good for people to meet up?
This week, next week?

I can do this week before Friday, as I've got my boyfriend coming to see me this weekend. Or anytime next week sounds great to me.
Whereabouts is the pub, would you be able to find out it's postcode so I can search it on the bus journey planner etc. You wouldn't think I live in Birmingham I'm crap with directions and place names.
