Default 50s glasses help!

I bought some 50s specs yesterday. the glass in them is currently a clear prescription and I want to change them to non-pescription with sunglasses lenses. Is this possible? If it is, where can I get it done?

Any optician will do it, but it's best to go to a proprietary owned one. Somewhere like Specsavers have just one remit, to sell as many pairs of specs as possible. Let me know if you have a problem, my other half has a contract with a specialist sunglasses company on The Isle of Wight. I don't have their details to hand, but could soon find them. Hope that helps.

I had mine done in Specsavers, cost £39. I think Specsavers are good because they display all the prices. I didn't have any coatings or anything.
