Actually, I am not a big fan of AP stockings. My favourite line is Secrets in Lace:

I know this store is over the pond for most of you Mobsters on here, but if you ever get a chance to make a purchase from here, they have the best stockings. |

The tulle seamed stockings and tights from What Katy Did are fab, really long lasting, sadly only in black i think, a very very fine fishnet. And veeerrrry stretchy! x  |

hi,
When i am not dancing i work for a dance shop called Dancia International and we sell quite a range of fishnets and are all really good quality. I have used them myself and i find ones made by Capezio are the best. Pappillon and Danskin are good too.

Whilst I love the look of the tulle stockings, I hate wearing them! I'm about two inches too short for them and I can't get my suspenders short enough, so I get baggy knees and ankles ...

Oh my goodness - Tesco, £3 stockings with lace top! Not brilliant quality but good enough and brilliant for practising - especially for someone like me who can ladder a pair of tights just by looking at them!

Superdrug do amazing ones for £1.99. They are actually the most durable I have worn. However, they are very very short, stopping just above the knee so are only really suitable for longer skirts |

Does anyone know where I can get nude opaque tights? I've a family wedding next weekend and I've got to cover quite a big tattoo on the back of my leg least I 'ruin' my sisters big day :/
The other option I have is to get my makeup artist friend to cover it up...or tell my folks but I think I may be disowned! I will in time, but not yet!

The nearest to nude opaque I can suggest is again Capezio - Colour Sun in matt finish or Danskin - colour Toast in matt finish depending on the colour of your skin that is - they probably won't completely cover up your tattoo but they will certainly help.
With regards to Fishnet dance tights I sell the Leg Avenue Nude & Black heavy duty showgirl fishnets on my website - I also sell What Katie Did black fishnets which are excellent - they contain a lot of lycra, therefore, no baggy ankles or knees - I used my first pair of WKD fishnets in a show two years ago and have used them many times since - they wash well and they are still going strong!!!
