Aw you look amazing! Sorry to hear your man problems. This thread has just made me appreciate how lucky I am to have such a supportive man, even if I don't believe him when he says I look good. I reckon I may just start to take notice when he does tell me I look nice.

ok guys and gals...quick update...

Me and OH have decided to give things another go after he grovelled and admitted it was a dumbass shallow thing to say...

He now says i have a beautiful body...HOWEVER it still niggleshim about my weight...mmmm

but after outlining to him that that there are several men who i could put him on the phone to who would tell him hes an idiot and my body is gorgeous!! (what can i say....i have some very good male friends)

One of which i may not introduce him to as he has outright said he would beat the crap out of him! lol (and i quite beleive him...gotta keep him away as he gets back from afghanistan today! lol)

We have decided that we shall give it another go...BUT i have said that if i still feel self conscious in a few months time...i will not allow myself to feel that way and i will leave...

so shall keep you posted!

I do hope it works out for you, but don't let anyone make you feel bad about who you are - it's not worth it, if he doesn't spend the next few weeks severely making up for being a stupid idiot, then I think leaving would be a very good decision - life is too short and you deserve to be loved for who you are - and you ARE gorgeous, your mates are right, and your OH is a big twithead.

Seriously though, I hope it works out for you. I can't believe after breaking up he is STILL saying you weight bothers him. Can he not see what a beautiful girl he's got? And she has given him a second chance! Yet he still doesn't sound all that grateful

i do still feel self concious when he tries to hug me or touch me but if i can get past that then ill be fine...if not then i wont let myself live that life and will find someone who adores me for me and my body!!

But i shall have to enforce a ticket system so all this Rick beating doesnt get too out of hand! lol

maybe just get a pair of old village stocks, a blackboard to write any comments he makes and then just sell custard pies for 5p a go - from the sound of it you'll be millionaire in no time :-)
