Hmm, is Gwen Stefanis corset look with short bustley skirt a good look to aim for?
I think the corset would be ideal but maybe not the skirt.Sje wore high socks tho.
You may need ot watch old episodes of Blackadder for ideas.
You can get a corset pattern off ebay.

And watch out for wigs-

I bought that Marie Antoinette wig that's shown in your two pics, from Leg Avenue, and its actually horrible and looks nowhere near as good as the pics. I had to buy another one at the last minute, and I was well peeved! i recommend seriously either buying a wig from a shop where you can try it, or getting a pic of the ACTUAL wig, not a stock photo. Just a suggestion!

I agree - they are Marie Antoinette rather than Elizabeth 1st

You could pimp this basic headwear up for starters:
