Recently Ruby Rouge has started doing a few costuming workshops in our little boutique on Sunday afternoons, and when she isn't there Sunday feels rather empty. Hence, we're filling some of the gaps with retro hair and make up classes.

Natasha Hall, who is responsible for most of the hair and make up in our pictures will be in charge! She's a well known face on the '40s and '50s scene and certainly knows how to put together an authentic look. The first class is going to be on Sunday 22nd June and will focus on a 1950s look.

Tea and cakes will be served!
The class will last approximately 2 hours, but we envisage lots of chat afterwards! Plus attendees will receive a discount on anything they purchase from What Katie Did on the day.

Ohh fantastic! Are there plans for a 1940's style look as well?

Awwww I have a shoot booked that day and I really wanted to come... I wonder if I can reschedule.

Natasha is planning a 1940s class as well, as she specialises in both the 1940s and 1950s. I'll be talking to her later this week to work out a schedule, but if you want to register your interest please contact her directly.

Hair will be included too. Basically Natasha's just trying to get as much feedback as possible as to what people want and what is possible in an afternoon (I think pincurling would be great but as Natasha pointed out, unless we have a sleepover in the shop it ain't going to work!)
