Im so excited....

I have had corset tops before but always wanted a Proper corset and as this is my first proper one and im skint! (as usual!lol!) im really excited about this...

Just bought one from a seller on ebay called christmas tree cola! £10.99!!! free shipping...now its only plastic boning with a steel busk...but still!! also i had a £5 paypal voucher so its only cost me £5.99!!!!

Also i figured whilst im still practicing a plastic boned one will give me a bit more flexibility till im used to them!

he he he!!!! its red and frilly and has little sparkles on!

Sounds a fantastic bargain. Although you'll just want a 'real' corset event more

I'm a little worried by the link you've posted though as the shipping shows as coming from China and at least two of the photos used for other items are actually pictures of a model called Morgana (who I LOVE). Her corsets certainly aren't plastic boned and I can't remember the specific corsets but I doubt they came from China. There are some very good copies that come from there though. Will be interesting to see what arrives

ooooh i hope they look the same!

i have a store on ebay and i CANT STAND it when people show pics of one thing and send something that merely resembles it!...it said in the title it had steel but didnt say anything about steel BONING so i assume it will be the busk that is steel....

mind you the other descriptions actuall said if it was steel boned or not...

ahh who knows!!!
the listing i showed wasnt the person i bought it off but it did come from china or hongkong

still its only £5.99 so even if its just for practising in .. but yes i soooooooo want a fully steel boned corset...ive been drooling over them for years!!!

The picture in the link looks like an Eternal Spirits corset to me. You certainly wouldn't get one of those for £10.99!

There are a lot of Chinese sellers who make clothes to measure for you and mostly they seem to be pretty reliable. I have a Lolita style winter coat from a Chinese seller who makes Lolita clothes and cosplay outfits and it's lovely. You'll probably get a copy of the design they show - maybe not up to the same quality as the original, but I should imagine it'll look the same. But please let us know whether it does or not - I'm after an item from a Chinese seller and I suspect the picture they are using is not one of theirs, so I'd be interested to see what happens in your case ...

I've bought 3 corsets from eBay so far and had no problem whatsoever with them - all from the same seller, though, and an English one at that. And I still paid around 50 quid per corset (which I suppose is still cheaper than average I guess...and they still have16 steel bones and all that, tres tres nice). ^_^

I never quite dared to order anything from China/Japan/etc., isn't there a chance it'll get stopped at Customs and you'll pay loads in taxes? Or did my mum just tell me that to scare me off? :P

Yeah I agree, it might look a bit like that but you won't get that effect with plastic boning either. Sorry.

Our wedding rings were custom designed and hand made in Hong Kong and were stopped at customs. I think we paid £15 as he's put the total value on the mail ticket down as £150 just in case. More recently I've bought a dress from China and it was not stopped and no fee, likewise many years ago we were charged for my box of christmas prezzies from an American friend but its never happened since
