bright/high pigment eye colours?
Just wondering if anyone could recommend some good eyeshadow brands, something with really strong colour...I know MAC is always mentioned here, but are there any others? Whenever I try something new the colour never seems bright enough, I want something that stands out...blues and yellows seem to be the worst. Fed up of spending money on things I don't like!

Barry M loose powders are fantastic, put vaseline on first and they stay on rather well (unfortunately they do crease after a bit but you can re-smudge).
I use the yellow one as eyeliner

Try a brand called MeMeMe which you should be able to find in Superdrug. Really bright and sparkly eyeshadows - I love the Pesto green and the Argent silver myself

The reason Mac are so good is that they finely mill the pigment which means that you have a really vivid long lasting colour.
I love Barry M (much more in my current budget) - try putting it on with a wet brush for a really vivid bright colour. Also I've used their eyeliner pens all over the lid for a really strong long lasting colour.
Please wait, detecting settings...
Also I've heard good things about a make up brand called GOSH in superdrug. Not tried it yet but was mentioned to me as a MAC alternative.

Try Urban Decay. Their deluxe eyshadows have more Pigment than MAC and they are beautifully smooth. A selection have been released in a pallette -its purple velvet with chainmail, love it!! All the eyeshadows have a graffiti print on the front, so make sure its those not their normal matte shadows. Also, Urban Decay Primer Potion makes all eyeshadows extremeley vibrant and increases staying power. The rcord for me is 15 hours with minimal creasing.
UD is available online and in bigger Boots and Debenhams.

GOSH is really big in Ireland, they've sold it there for a while and a lot of my friends there use it. I think its more of an expensive version on Barry M same kind of eye powders and such xxxx

Bare minerals eyeshadows are very good, Cos you can use them wet and the pigment is very strong.

I love the using Benefit powders when their wet - They change colour over thick black eyeshadow too so you can get some very interesting effects.
