Sometimes when I want a really strong pigment I use a coloured liquid eyeliner on my eyelids. I find they are one of the best ways to get a strong colour that doesn't disappear. Not sure if that's any use to you but it's just a suggestion

Somebody's already mentioned Urban Decay and I don't think you can really go wrong there, most of my makeup is Too Faced TOO FACED COSMETICS - stylish makeup for your lips, eyes and face which you can get from Boots. They mostly do pretty subtle colours but their brighter ones are gorgeous, especially with their shadow primer xxx x

Sleek make up has fantastic eyeshadows. It's a range designed for darker skintones so they stand out really well, there wee jars of eye powder are much bigger than other brands, they do fantastic liquid and gel eyeliners plus they have palettes of 12 colours for about £4.50. I've been raving about them to all my mates and they're all hooked. I'm very pale and can't use the foundations or powders but the eye makeup is lovely. You can pick it up in Superdrug

Stargazer are really good for bright colours. I went through a stage of wearing red eyeshadow every SINGLE day for about 2 years and I still didn't finish the one pot of eyeshadow. It was only about £3.50 too.
You can normally get hold of them in alternative shops, the sort that sell gothic clothes and cannabis paraphernalia

Heh...I do use Stargazer, actually, certain colours are better than others. I've still got the pink, which is really good, that I bought about five years ago...I think it's probably about time to replace it with something new and less germ-filled!

I recommend Lush's makeup brand B and their cream eyeshadow. Colours are just great and it stays on your eyelids all day long. Only bad thing is that they come with a sort of eyeliner-like brush so spreading the colour can be a bit tricky. Unfortunately they don't sell B here in Finland...

Stargazer stuff is pretty cheap on their website and might be handier. It's sometimes hard to get the full ranch in the wee alternative shops. New Look seem to be selling it in some places as well.
