Hello Everyone!

So after a fair few performances I have come to realise that my skins is just way to sensitive to use tit tape!
I have a pair of rhinestones paties which are pretty heavy so I started using double sided sticky tape which keeps them on nice and secure but when I take them off I'm left with nasty red marks and slight peeling skin ( horror!!) which are sore!!

So I tried braving the lighter lingerie tape which doesn't hold them on as well in most cases but even this left me with marks!

I have heard some performers use copydex to hold their tassles on, but wouldn't this still irritate my clearly over sensitive skin too?

Really just hoping for any suggestions of alternatives I can try. Has anyone else suffered a similar problem?

i use claires tape which is a bit of a pain.
i've tried copydex which is ok (just depends on ur boob size)

Hi there! i did a Burlesque gig at the weekend and forgot titty tape, no one had any with them either, so i put on my thinking cap and used my false eyelash Glue, which worked a treat! with no nasty marks either, i'm at least a 36 DD they didn't budge all night, it's a good tip if your cut short! xx :-) x

I've got very sensitive skin and I use toupee tape. It's stronger than tit tape as it's designed to keep toupees on, which also leads me to believe it may be better for sensitive skin too. I only need to use four to six small pieces around the outside edges, and some of my pasties are very heavy (one pair has metal balls which I twirl like tassels). I've never once had a pastie loss accident and what's more I'm the only performer I know who doesn't find taking their pasties off painful - result! Best of all, it's easy to find on eBay, and cheap too

Hmm, Some people use spirit gum, but it's really just trying out different combinations of things. I use double sided which is fine unless I'm changing pasties, as afterwards they tend to be a bit sore, but I always moisturise which helps. (AFTERwards, else your pasties will just slide off..!)
Otherwise I'd recommend superglue- that way you don't have to worry about taking them off and thus suffering...

I use toupee tape for my heavy ones you can get extra strong stuff that is extra sensitive really helps. Then I just use double sided for my normal weight pasties. Eyelash glue is very similar to copydex in its make up. I am with Kittie always put lots of moisturizer on after a show it really helps especially if you have two acts in a night and need to swap pasties or a couple of shows in a week.

Hi girls,

wow i've taken ages to see about this, but after my gig on sunday i was left rather red raw and painful even after lots of moisturiser! So I now have to come up with a new idea!!

I've got two main ideas in mind: I see the idea of Toupe Tape is a popular one, would this definitely be ok for sensitive skin? Otherwise I like the idea of eyelash glue tho i can see that becoming a bit of an expensive and probably not likely to hold my heavier pasties!

I recently heard that using something like toner after taking off pasties is a good idea too then following with moisturiser... any thoughts on that? I'm a bit nervous about putting something so astringent near my nips haha!?

Toner on your nips? I caught my top lip with my toner/clarifying lotion (clinique one) when I first had it, and it went all red & a bit scabby. I wouldn't want to get it near my nips.

now see i thought that must sting like a b*tch too but I was assured it did wonders for getting off all the stickiness from tape which should be better for them....hmmm..... i am not so sure i dare risk it!

oh and I haven't seen you perform but I saw your doll pics & I thought "I imagine that to have the music from chitty chitty bang bang."
