Northern vintage hairdressers
Anyone know a good hairdresser up North to repair my straggled mess and turn it into luscious curls?

I dont live in the North...But I did live in Newcastle for a while, and South shields....Thats besides the point.....What was my point again...Oh yes HAIRDRESSERS.
When I lived up that way I always went to Toni and Guys. That chain of hairdressers can do almost anything with anyones hair and the products they use you can buy there OR better yet from Boots where they are normally 3 for 2 to help you keep your hair the way you intended it.
Hope this helps!

Probably best trying Leeds, even contact your local college- we've got a hair and beauty college in Hull and they're always willing to try to help. Plus you'll save a fair wad of cash and even if they can't work magic you won't have spent much!
In the meantime try the Pantene stuff they've just brought out for knackered hair, it's working well on mine!

NO, not Toni & Guy! Absolute rip off merchants. They might have the odd good stylist (hence Sinthia's reccomentdation) but you'd spen a fortune trying to find one.

I debated going to selby college to get it done. You can get hair extentions really cheap too. I would go to Toni and Guy because im a bit of a snob and I like been pampered but it is so expensive. Think I will go to the college xx

Ah come on Heather, I see her point - my sister's training to be a hairdresser and I wouldn't let her touch mine!

My sister is just about to qualify as a stylist, she has been a hairdresser for 5 years though.
She's really good and does my hair all the time, if you are willing to travel to Manchester I can put you in touch :-)
