The thread on burlesque chat about inappropriate audience behaviour has made me think - what are the other options out there for gals who (for whatever reason) might not want to go all the way down to pasties? I really liked the large fluffy pasties that voodo betty posted, can anyone think of any other options?

Keep your bra on, wear an overbust corset, use a stick on bra - there's no rule saying all performers have to go down to pasties! Plenty of performers never do, and many don't even strip in some or all of their routines. It's completely up to you what you want to wear and remove, if anything ^_^

As Fleur said you don't have to take anything off if you don't want to, striptease is only a section of burlesque and many acts don't strip at all. But if you wanted to strip but not go down to pasties you can be as creative as you like, drape a scarf/ feather boa over you, keep on your bra, use feathers, fluff, flowers what ever you feel comfortable with, burlesque dosn't have strict rules to what you must/must not do in fact completely the opposite, it gives you the scope to be as creative as you like and to do whatever you feel comfortable with

There is no pressure to go all the way. Burlesque is an art of tease, so you just have to be suggestive, you dont have to show everything xx

How about a nude bra with pasties glued on top? You can even embellish the bra with rhinestones as well to make it extra cute!

Hey, well if you ever want any - custom or whatever you fancy you know where I am! Bigger pasties that are almost like a stick on bra, look really lovely without revealling much boob. It is totally up to you what you want or don't want to remove - it all has to go with your storyline. x
