Thumbs down Make up books

Hello beautul people,

I love make up, but always seem to struggle with eye make up.

Does anyone know of any good make-up instruction books (both regular make up and 'show' make up books).

I'm in dire need of help!

I'm so bored with my usual slick of red lippy and kitty flick eyeliner. It looks good, I've got it down to a T, but I want more (are us dolls EVER satisfied?!).

Thank you lovelies.

Miss Honey Bare.

You should be able to get a theatrical make-up book if you go to your local library.

Awhile ago I posted up some links for how-to's of some make-up looks, would they be an ok starting point?

Of course as Lola Pops suggested your local library should have a couple you can look though.

The body shop make up book is quite a good one, it does everything from a simple natural look, to something far more elaborate, plus it give loads of fantastic tips on how to look after your skin and hair.

It's also worth checking out make-up comapny sites like MAC and the suchlike as they will usually have make-up sheets of how to do their latest 'look'.

Default You need these!

Makeup your mind by Francois Nars

ANYTHING by Kevyn Aucoin

They are makeup masters. The books are really expensive, but so worth it, if you are serious about building up your makeup talents.

Or you can try MAC's website as they have some of these as well... now all that's needed is practice!

I was in Superdrug today and l'oriel have a new vintage look range out - admittedly I'm a little sceptical and the colours don't particuarly grab me, but they have an instruction diagram that left me stood there for a good 10 mins trying to memorise it!!!
