    Thanks lovelies!

    Any orders?

Next goal is to do a peasant style creation, I need to source coarse heavy dark material without it costng a bomb. I already have a corset and wench style top and can reuse the crinoline. If I am successful I'll post here and update!

Nope no pattern. My original idea was to get a square of material big enough to cut in a circle and make a flare style skirt that would sit nicely on the crinoline (which I used like a dress makers dummy), but it was seemingly impossible to get it in that shape big enough, the widest it could have been on the shortest side was 1m, so I ended up with three metres which was just enough to wrap round the dress and make a seam on one side. The leftover I made a shawl out of and I'm pretty sure Baron Bartholomew Black has stole my scraps to come up with his own creations (see his thread on reviving his wardobe - the leopard print on the lapels!).

Its not the neatest of jobs but it looks fine for the photos which was all I was really after. I also got lazy at the end after all that stitching by hand so didnt hem the bottom, but I will get round to it. The waist is a draw string with black ribbon so I didnt need to measure anything either

Okay, so I know I said I was just going to make my own...but I saw this and after a frantic bidding war, got it on ebay for about £30. The P+P was a bit steep at 30 USD. But it was worth it!

A Von Lancelot Vicotorian purple gown (jakcte and skirt), a Corsets UK corset, and a MissHats.com purple tricorn :

Oh and excuse the creases - it was in a suitcase for a while!
